Weekend Baking: Rum Banana Bread
This is my mid-month equivalent of Christmas Fruit cake! While we do make a yummy fruit cake with rum soaked dried fruits, this banana bread is something that I usually make in December. It feels just as Christmas-y but needs much less prep!

What's better than Ramen when Winter has been around for a bit? Japanese fried chicken, or Karaage chicken, and kimchi ramen is probably one of the best ramen combinations out there! Even though the broth doesn't need to be developed for several hours, the taste is very rich and soothing. The sweetness from the onions and the earthiness from the mushrooms perfectly balances the spice and the tang from the kimchi!
